We had taken a flight to delhi, stayed there for some days and from there we went by
road to Agra.
Distance by road is 208.6 km.

We checked in our hotel. And by evening we went to pay the
famous monument- Taj Mahal a visit. We went by car and were asked to stop a
little before our destination. This was done so that the pollution from
vehicles doesn't affect the monument in any way. So after a brief security check
we were let in and as soon as we got in before the main entrance, we saw tons of
photographers and guides asking us to hire them for a quick tour.
We
entered the main gate and saw the monument itself. It was magnificent, beautiful and a
treat to our eyes.
The marble had been polished to emphasize the exquisite detailing of the carvings and the dado frames and archway spandrels had been decorated with pietra dura inlays of highly stylized, almost geometric vines, flowers and fruits.
Beside Taj Mahal yammuna river flows adding to it's beauty.

Taj Mahal is identical from all four sides. It is one of the finest creations
of mankind, you can stare at it for hours. It's just so beautiful maybe that's
why it's called a wonder of the world!
